One archaeological focus, not five compulsory stops. This outline gives Caral its own day and separates most of the journey from Lima. It is a plan to arrange accommodation and transport around, not a booked tour or timetable.

How it fits into a journey

Day 1: travel from Lima to your accommodation near Barranca and confirm the next day. Day 2: Caral with arranged outward and return transport. Day 3: return to Lima or continue using your confirmed transport. Áspero is a possible separate addition, not a required stop.
