What to expect
Pisac has a substantial archaeological area above town. Its buildings, squares and temple remains deserve more than a quick photograph between shopping stops. Ask an organised tour which part you will actually see; the name Pisac alone is not enough.
How it fits into a journey
Give the town and archaeological area separate parts of the day. Agree the pickup point if continuing farther into the valley afterwards.
