Manú stretches from Andean landscapes to lowland forest. That range is exactly why the route deserves attention. Tres Cruces, cloud forest along the approach and the more distant river area do not all describe the same day trip. Have the itinerary mapped and ask which part of the national park you actually visit.
How it fits into a journey
For the road approach, discuss Cusco, Pilcopata and Atalaya together. A river programme needs its own outward and return plan.
