What to expect
AUTOCOLCA places Cruz del Cóndor on the route along the left side of the valley. Make it part of a day you would value even without a bird sighting. You can schedule a viewpoint; you cannot schedule a condor.
How it fits into a journey
Plan the visit from your chosen valley base. Stopping here does not mean you also have to hike into the canyon or stay in Cabanaconde.
